Created in 2006 by Nathan Bezner, Firewall is an short film/music video using the Japanese animation film Metropolis as its source material. Essentially a found footage project. Firewall is a conceptual pairing of different media contingents – animation and music/film. Inspired by the short film The Heart of the World by Guy Maddin, Firewall acts as not only found footage concept art, but also promotional material for the creator and the material itself.
