I’ve found there are two schools of thought on this topic, and it depends entirely on not only the director but the writer as well.

The way I look at it is a sex scene is not unlike an action scene – the specifics will be blocked on set, and therefore you don’t need to write out every “ooh” and “aah” on paper.

However, if the sex scene includes something that is not only relevant to the plot (which evey sex scene should) but essential, then yes, a bit more detail and action is warranted.</description>

		<description>I remember during school, one of my teachers told me that you would have to get specific with the positioning of both the camera and the actors for each shot. I&#039;ve not directed one so I&#039;m not certain how it is to bring a camera into what should be an intimate moment between two people, but this is what I was taught about it.</description>
